Main Tasks
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop sales plan for water, wastewater and hipurity application membrane products
- Reaching out the market to develop new customers for generating enquiries. Understanding the customer needs and application to recommend most suitable product and solution with design projections.
- Participate in the development of the sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, and customer satisfaction for the specific country/region.
- Company / Product Accreditation and PQ submissions to Consultants and Clients in industrial, municipal and public sector.
- Forecast customer/market trends/pipeline for forward planning and monitor competitors’ activities in the specific market(s).
- Develop and maintain positive long-term relationships with key accounts / distributors / dealers through customer visits and providing consultation services and support on M+H membrane solution products.
- Provide design projection and site support to the customers and OEMs.
- Manage the day-to-day sales operational activities for customers.
- Oversee the sales support activities such as administration, customer service, invoicing and credit and collections.
- Competition analysis and Pricing strategies on project basis.
- Handle customer complaints/product returns.
- Conduct Seminars, Exhibitions, product trainings/workshops for distributors/dealers, OEM, consultant and End Users.
- Working hand in hand with the Sales leaders, sales team members, Product Managers and global technical Team for new pilots, development of new products suiting the regional requirement and applications and providing design support.
- Travel and attend client meetings to support other Sales Engineers / Mangers as and when needed and not limiting purview to a particular sector, area or region.
Experience
Minimum Qualification:
- Education - Bachelor of Engineering/Technology Degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical or Diary Engineering /Food Technology or equivalent/related field. And MBA / PGDBM in marketing & sales is desirable.
- Training and Experience - Minimum 8 to 17years of experience in a similar position having experience in distribution channel development, OEM and government sector sales with focus in water, wastewater, chemical & industrial filtration processes. Previous experience as a Sales Manager and/or Product Marketing greatly preferred.
- Travel - This position requires extensive travel across Western India.
- English and local languages (fluent) required. Hindi desirable.
- Sales experience, knowledge of sales process,empanelment within water, wastewater membrane market.
