Role Summary
The engineer is responsible for the filtration and adsorption technology design as well as the planning and documentation of the validation of filter media. As a core team member, he supports Transportation and LS&E business units by developing filter media and adsorbents
Main Tasks
Main Accountabilities
. Planning and documentation of the technical validation of filter media for customer projects and the Independent Aftermarket
. Functional release of filter media for customer projects and Independent Aftermarket
. Performing the filter media testing and documenting the findings
. Responsible for creating test requests and generating test reports in coordination with the test lab
. Collaboration on customer projects as a project team member in accordance with MANN+HUMMEL processes
. Collaboration on the market launch of IAM & OE filter elements in accordance with MANN+HUMMEL processes
. Planning, evaluation and documentation of benchmark studies
. Patent analysis, literature review and documentation of new findings
. Responsible to prepare and maintain the technical documentation of the projects in CIM Database as per media release requirements.

. Product know how of M+H products as well as system understanding is an added advantage
. Proficient use of IT-tools (MS Office, CIM DATABASE, SAP, CAD, …)

Minimum Educational Requirement
Experience
Qualification & Experience:
. University degree or equivalent education in the field of Textile / Chemical Engineering
. 1 – 4 years of relevant work experience
. Experience in product development processes
