Role Summary

The job incumbent performs engineering activities in design and ensures that the designed products meet the M+H standards and the customer specifications.

Main Tasks

  • Responsible for the development of the design concepts and Manage to develop 3D Models and 2D drawing for the approved Design Concept
  • Manage to prepare and maintain the technical design documentation of the products in CIM Database.
  • Support Lead engineer in identifying Business critical topics and setting Key priorities with governance
  • Responsible for the modification of products in regard to the technical specifications during the serial production
  • Responsible to manage and perform all the design related tasks as per M+H Product Development Process (xSEP) (FMEA, design concept release, CAD concept etc.) in cooperation with cross functional teams and Stake Holders.
  • Support engineering changes according to TCM process
  • Identify Continious Improvement projects by VA/VE, Standardization, Digitilization, RPA etc.
  • Ensure compliance with the technical standards, processes and norms of M+H Group during the project and Communicate with the customers, suppliers and the relevant departments regarding all technical issues

Experience

Qualification & Experience:

  • University degree or equivalent education in the field of Engineering
  • 3 – 5  years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in (automotive or similar) product development processes

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Proficient use of IT-tools (MS Office, CATIA V5, CIM DATABASE, CAD, …)
    • English language skills
    • Responsible for creating 3D Models and 2D drawing for the approved Design Concept
    • Creating BOM of the product, Basic GD&T knowledge
