Role Summary

Product Design Engineering focuses on designing and developing new or existing products, components, or assemblies.

Main Tasks

  • Design & Development Activity
    ▪Responsible for the design and development of Oil & fuel filtration system.
    ▪Convert of customer specification into the design realization and to handle CAD tasks as assigned by LPE / Team leader.
    ▪Participate in/ Support the lead engineer (EVA) in the development of the design concept for the product to meet internal / Customer product specification.
    ▪Preparation of 3d & 2d and BOM structure based on the specification and packaging data from customer.
    ▪To perform stack-up analysis for the design, considering tolerances and boundary conditions.
    ▪To analyze results and optimize design to performance, cost and robust manufacturing.
    ▪Prepare and maintain the technical documentation regarding the design and development of the product within the relevant product group.
    ▪To prepare design validation and product validation plan and associate validation cost.
    Support Function
    ▪Works with operations to understand process capabilities, makes product design recommendations in-line with production strategies.
    ▪To coordinate with test lab and check for testing feasibility and co-ordination for test results.
    ▪Support LPE for fitment and field trails during different phase of project.
    ▪Support product expect in obtaining the patents and in protecting the patents for the new/ existing products.
    ▪Works with cross functional teams to evaluate product designs and specifications to determine feasibility while minimizing costs to develop and manufacture.
    ▪Participate and support production during the serial production.
    ▪Support Team leader / LPE during PPAP and audits.

Your Profile

▪Projects in time and budget. Ability to organize and manage tasks to meet project deadlines.
▪Keep track on project budget time to time and manage the engineering activity within the allocated budget for the project.

Minimum Educational Requirement

Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Mechanical engineering, mechanics

Experience

Qualification
▪University degree or equivalent education in the field of Engineering
Experience:
▪4- 5 years of relevant work experience in Automotive domine / filtration products.
