Role Summary
We are looking for a commercially oriented Product Manager to manage and grow an automotive aftermarket filtration portfolio. The
role will focus on identifying market opportunities, expanding product coverage, managing new product launches and lifecycle, analysing
competition, and driving successful execution across Sales, Engineering, Sourcing and Supply Chain
Main Tasks
Portfolio Management: Manage assigned product portfolio across the lifecycle; identify product gaps, application opportunities and portfolio expansion priorities.
New Product Introduction: Identify NPI opportunities using market, vehicle parc, OE and competitor data; develop business cases and drive launches through market availability.
Market & Competitor Intelligence: Analyse competitor products, pricing, application coverage and positioning; use OE reference and cross-referencing to identify market gaps.
Commercial Management: Support pricing, positioning and business cases; track portfolio performance, revenue opportunities and commercial targets.
Go-to-Market: Develop launch plans, product value propositions, catalogues and sales-enablement materials; support sales and distributor requirements.
Cross-functional Execution: Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and Marketing to ensure launch readiness and resolve execution issues.
Product Data & Analytics: Maintain product/application data and dashboards; analyse sales and launch performance to support portfolio decisions.

Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Automotive, Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related technical discipline.
MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Strategy or Business Management is preferred.
Experience
3–5 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, preferably in Automotive Aftermarket, Auto Components, Automotive
Parts, Product Management, Product Development / NPI, Business Development or Commercial / Category Management.
Prior experience with automotive aftermarket products, distributors, dealers or channel partners is preferred.
Must-Have Skills
Understanding of automotive products and the Independent Aftermarket (IAM) business.
Experience in product portfolio management and/or New Product Introduction.
Ability to work with OE numbers, competitor references and vehicle/application data.
Strong market research, competitor analysis and commercial acumen.
Business-case development and analytical problem-solving skills.
Strong project and stakeholder management capabilities.
Ability to work effectively with Sales, Engineering, Sourcing and Supply Chain.
Excellent communication, presentation and MS Excel / PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Skills & Exposure
Experience in automotive filtration or other replacement parts.
Experience managing a large SKU / part-number portfolio.
Exposure to automotive cataloguing and application data.
Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tools.
Experience supporting launches across multiple brands or markets.
